Age categories

Click on the "Edit" button in the top corner of the screen to edit your slide content.

Age categories are often used by hotels to determine pricing, room occupancy limits, and other policies related to guests of different age groups.


Setup Age Categories


To configure these age categories, follow these steps:

1. in the 'Contacts' tab, click on 'Configuration';

2. select 'Age Categories'.


In the window that opens, three age categories will be set - adults, children, and infants with defined age ranges:

  • Infant - from 0 to 2 years;
  • Child - from 3 to 14 years;
  • Adult - from 15 to 123 years.

Please pay attention that there is no possibility to create, delete or archive any of existing age categories.

The user can choose between predefined age ranges or customizing them according to their preferences.


If it is necessary to make changes to one or more age categories, the user needs to change the start and/or end values of the range and click the 'Update' button - the system will save the entered data and, in case of overlap, recalculate other records.
