How to change reservation dates

Our system allows to change hotel reservation dates to accommodate various circumstances. Whether it's a change in travel plans, unexpected events, or personal preferences, it can easily be modified with just a few clicks. 

Change dates in Draft/Confirmed status for guest reservations

When a guest reservation (individual or after group split) is in Draft/Confirmed status, it is possible to change both reservation dates - Check-In and Check-Out - in the field ' Check-In -> Check-Out' in the 'Reservation Details' section:

1. to reduce the duration of the reservation, you should change the 'Check-In' to a later date or 'Check-Out' date to an earlier date - this change will also be applied to room and arrangement lines, and will also recalculate items in the overview;
2. to increase the duration of the reservation, you should change the 'Check-In' to an earlier date and/or the 'Check-Out' to a later date - the 'Update Reservation Dates' wizard will appear with the following options:

• Room Line - extend a line (change dates in an existing line) or create a new extra room line;
• Arrangement Line - extend a line (change dates in an existing line) or create a new extra arrangement line.

Change dates in the Checked-In status for guest reservations

When a guest reservation (individual or after group split) is in the Checked-In status, it is possible to change only Check-Out date - in the field ' Check-In -> Check-Out' in the 'Reservation Details' section:

1. to reduce the duration of the reservation, you should change the 'Check-Out' date to an earlier date - this change will also be applied to room and arrangement lines, and will also recalculate items in the overview;

If the reservation is in the Checked-In status, the earliest date before which you can change the Check-Out date is today.


2. to increase the duration of the reservation, you should change the 'Check-Out' to a later date - the 'Update Reservation Dates' wizard will appear the same as mentioned above.
